If you have had the privilege of meeting her then you have met one of the most pure, patient, loving and kind people on the face of this planet. I make no exaggeration when I say I married up.
She is the kind of person who, when you meet her, makes you feel instantly comfortable.
It’s only through her efforts that our home has not completely succumbed to chaos. She makes sure bills are paid, the house is clean, our daughter is taken care of, and that I don’t burn down the house.
She believes in me more than I do and makes me want to be the person she thinks I am.
She loves the little things in life. She is able to be content in pretty much any situation. Sure, it makes it hard to convince her I need to get a big screen tv, but that’s ok. She teaches me to love the life I have.
To watch her be a mother is to be inspired. The way she cares for Emily puts me to shame.
She is a huge fan of sleeping! She goes to bed early, but only because she knows someone has to get up early with Emily, and she makes that sacrifice so I can stay up late.
She puts up with my near obsession with Call of Duty.
She is a partner in my ministry and doesn’t let me forget little details.
I could write a book about how much Sarah brings to my life and the lives of those around her. I really am lucky to have her.
Happy Valentines Day, Sarah. I love you.
